Daimler AG (DAI.xetr) is a German multinational automotive engineering corporation headquartered in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Daimler AG is mainly owned by Tenaciou3 Prospect Investment Limited, Kuwait's Sovereign Savings Fund, and Chinese investor Li Shufu. The company is one of the world's leading car and truck manufacturers. Having suffered a loss of €6B (EUR) on its revenue and half a million drop in sold vehicles, Daimler AG has implemented a series of strict recovery measures. Such measures include the termination of most of its Mercedes-Benz and Maybach production and a 10,000 layoff since 2019. Daimler AG (DAI.xetr) is traded as a constituent of the DAX Index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB), and its current market cap is €75.19B (EUR). Daimler AG announced an investment of more than $47B (USD) between 2022 and 2030 to develop full-electric vehicles and be ready for an all-electric car market. Daimler AG (DAI.xetr) expects full-electric and hybrid-electric cars to make up 50% of sales by 2025.
