Futures and the FTSE100

Darren Chu, Senior Representative for NYSE Liffe will explain the mechanics of stock index futures focusing specifically on the FTSE100. The seminar will then explore specific strategies that can be implemented using FTSE100 contract, such as hedging a current portfolio.
Darren joined NYSE Liffe in mid-2010 to grow Liffe futures and options activity in Australia and India, and has recently been tasked to oversee an upgrade to Liffe's education offerings globally.
Previously, Darren was with the TMX Group | Montreal Exchange for 4 years, marketing futures and options across North America, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
He has also written course content for 3 derivatives courses offered by the Canadian Securities Institute, and has contributed articles for Active Trader magazine. Darren actively trades spot FX and futures on commodities and indicies.
